Xmas: OKG Foundation distributes food stuffs to over 600 beneficiaries in Ilesa

Over 600 residents of Ilesa, and environs on Wednesday, December 21, 2022, benefited from the annual Olatunji & Kikelomo Gbotosho Foundation (OKG) Christmas gifts. 

The Isokun office of the NGO, was filled with both the old and the young, who were struggling to get from the food stuffs.

Coming at a time when economic hardship is taking a toll in a country where more than half of the population are struggling to feed and failing below poverty line, most of the invited guests that included Pastor Adekunle Benson, and Pastor Joseph Adekunle who spoke at the event insisted that the gesture would go a long way to assuage the suffering of the masses.

The duo said the Dr Olatunji, and. Mrs Kikelomo Gbotosho Foundation was doing what every well meaning Nigerians must embrace, adding that the NGO remained a blessing to the society, where many are struggling to feed daily.

While addressing the gathering, the coordinator, OKG foundation, Mr Alake, commended Dr Olatunji, and Mrs Kikelomo Gbotosho, for giving back to the society.

He said the foundation had no political affiliation, and it's non profit oriented, saying it had awarded scholarships, provided school uniforms for students in Osun, paid tuition fees, settled patients 'hospital bills, and distributed leaning materials to many public schools in Ilesa amongst others.

Alake said OKG foundation has continued to show Christ love by assisting the needy in their struggles to live a decent life. 

At the end of the event, people who had turned out in large number were seen leaving with excitement and joy, appreciating OKG for the food items.

The event had in attendance, Pa Gbotosho, who is a father to the founder, OKG Foundation, Dr Olatunji Gbotosho, and Hon Isaiah Ayomaya,   Captain Ogunde, amongst others.
