Return Govt Properties Within 48 Hours, Adeleke Directs Former Officials The Osun State Government has directed former appointed officials to return government properties in their possession within 48 hours. The spokesperson for Governor Ademola Adeleke, Olawale Rasheed, in a statement on Wednesday, said the directive was sequel to “large scale diversion of government assets by top officials of the immediate past administration” of Gboyega Oyetola. “Several official vehicles are missing while official records indicated that two third of former state officials left with fleet of car in their office. “Most Ministries, Departments and Agencies (MDAs) were stripped of operational assets like vehicles, computers and even residential fittings. Residences of some top officials were equally pillaged even to lamp fitting,” the statement added.  Rasheed noted that any former official who refuse to comply with the directive will face the full weight of the law. Osun State Government Dissolves All Non-Statutory Boards

.                 Gov. Adeleke  The Executive Governor of Osun State, Senator Ademola Adeleke has approved the dissolution of all non-statutory boards in the state with immediate effect. According to a press release on Tuesday, 29 th  November 2022 signed by the Spokesperson to the Executive Governor Mallam Olawale Rasheed, said the directive was conveyed to heads of ministries, departments, and agencies by the Secretary to the State Government, Hon Teslim Igbalaye. The memo directing the MDAs to give effect to the dissolution reads as follows: “As a follow-up to the pronouncement of His Excellency, the Executive Governor of Osun State, Senator Ademola Jackson Nurudeen Adeleke, on Sunday, 27th November 2022, all non-statutory Boards, Commissions and Parastatals including those of Tertiary Institutions (with exception of UNIOSUN) are hereby dissolved in the State forthwith” “Consequently, all Accounting Officers of such Boards, Parastatals, and Commissions are to take charge

Osun Governor Directs Career Heads of LGAs to Take Immediate Charge

The Executive Governor of Osun State, Senator Ademola Jackson Nurudeen Adeleke has directed the most senior career heads across all the Local Government Council Areas, the Area Office, LCDAs and ACDAs in Osun State to take charge of the affairs of their respective Councils with immediate effect.  This is contained in a Press Statement issued by the  spokesperson to the Executive Governor Malam Olawale Rasheed According to the statement, this step is in compliance with the judgement of the Federal High Court sitting in Osogbo that sacked the purportedly elected Local Government Chairmen and Councilors.
